Cycles of light and dark

The cycles of existence

The light always comes. The dark may stay for a long time, but the light is always after.

The dark always comes. The light may stay for a long time, but the dark is always after.

It is a cycle of light and dark, waking and sleeping, not unlike breathing. “One needs the other” is not quite what it is. One simply follows the other.

The land lies dormant and cold, and then it is alive and warm. Rest, then active. Rest just long enough, and then work. Work just long enough, and then rest. Sleep, then wake. Wake, then sleep.

But pay attention to the rhythm. Learn the rhythm, and you can flow with it.
